Obama backs U.seless N.ations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous People

The U.N. resolution says that “[i]ndigenous peoples have the right to the lands, territories and resources which they have traditionally owned, occupied or otherwise used or acquired.” You can read the report at CNSNEWS.

Of course, in his support of this U.seless N.ations resolution, Obama apologized once again, like he has to so many people, for “the sad and painful chapters in our shared history--a history too often marred by broken promises and grave injustices against the First Americans.”

Of course, it is not just the “colonialists” that “took” land from the indigenous tribes. What about indigenous tribes that took land from other indigenous tribes? Which one of the tribes will eventually have the “true” rights to the land.

Here are some thoughts:
How far back does this reversal of land ownership go? 100 years? 200 Years? 2000 years? All the way back to Adam? W
ill the land be returned to the “original” owners in the condition that they “lost” it, or in the new improved and advanced condition? If the land is given back to people as far back as n years, maybe they must only be allowed to use the land as they would have used it n years ago. And, maybe they should not be allowed to live on that land as moderns, but as they would have n years ago. Isn’t this what land-ownership-reversal is all about? Should the time and living conditions also be reversed, or in this reversal, should the “original” new owners benefit from all the advances made on the land? Should they really benefit from the advances? Is there any guarantee that they would have advanced the land to its current condition, had they kept and lived on the land without the Europeans’ technology and advancements?

Sometimes, there are more consequences than expected when clever ideas are thought of, such as this one. Will someone end up losing their land, because someone else makes a decision that will affect him?

Anyhow, these were just some thoughts on the subject.

Summer starts officially... tomorrow!

I know, I know! You are probably saying that Summer Solstice (for those in the Southern Hemisphere), or more generally, December Solstice, is today at 23:38 UTC (11:38pm).

However, if you live where I live, South Africa (or further east), Summer Solstice, which marks the official start of summer in the Southern Hemisphere, only starts tomorrow. In South Africa, Summer Solstice is at 01:38 (1:38am) tomorrow morning, Wednesday, 22 December 2010! New Zealand’s Summer Solstice is at 12:38 (pm), Wednesday, 22 December 2010.

American government forcing military to accept open pursuers of a particular sexual perversion

Just been reading Hither and Thither by Dan Philips. One of the subjects he touches on a couple of times is the issue of the U.S. government wanting to force the acceptance of “homosexuals” back into the American military. So, without rambling on myself, I’ll let Dan explain it himself:

  • Here's an interest study in MSM bias. Never seen anything quite like this though. Same paper, same day, two stories, two "takeaways." They even have almost the same pictures at the head! The news source is the Washington Times. The subject is forcing our military to accept open pursuers of a particular sexual perversion. One story says the military is OK with it, the other story says the military strongly resists it. Guess which one is from AP? Correct: the first. Guess which tells another story? Correct, the one by veteran national security reporter Rowan Scarborough.
  • Depressing to read the political military heads and desk-jockies ready to throw the fighting men under the bus in the name of political correctness and social experimentation.
  • Indeed, the indispensable Elaine Donnelly, of the Center for Military Readiness, agrees that the Pentagon let the troops down. She observes that the report identifies not one benefit to the military from forcing this issue; also, some 60% believe that it would have a negative impact; would have untold negative consequences on chaplains and those currently serving due to "Zero Tolerance" for recognizing homosexuality's immoral, aberrant nature. Just a rush-job to deliver on a bad political promise.
  • Perhaps even more of a killer: "More than a third of Marines (38.1 percent) and nearly a fourth of all personnel (23.7) said they would either leave the military or think about doing so if the policy is reversed, and 40 percent of Marines and 27 percent of all the military said they would be less likely to recommend to a friend or family member that he or she join the military." That's what I've been telling you: each move towards forcing the military to embrace this perversion is a move towards a compulsory draft.
  • Meanwhile, California's disgrace, Senatrix Barbara Boxer, had someone write an editorial for her pressing for this horrible idea, ignoring all the facts, and including this chestnut: "...American taxpayers have been forced to pay up to a half a billion dollars to replace the 13,000 service men and women discharged under this policy." Although, if the estimable Senatrix's point is that these individuals should be billed for the costs incurred by their knowing duplicity, I might be on-board.

I am totally with Dan on this one. With the return of “pursuers of a particular sexual perversion,” I can only imagine the infighting that will happen within the U.S. forces. Would you want to appear naked in front of another man who may want to have sex with you? In the same way I don’t use toilet facilities together with women, I will not want to do the same with these perverts around! This will mean the end of the U.S. military. When a military is weakened morally to this point, it will become a non-combatant military. Switch off the lights when you leave!

Western Cape government officials on indigent grant list

“[T]he names of five government officials [were found] on the beneficiary list meant for indigent households” in need of “urgent government support.” The whole report can be read at Eye Witness News. Patricia de Lille, Western Cape Social Development MEC, said that these officials “will be disciplined soon.”

I hope that by “disciplined” she actually means charged with theft! These people are involved in corruption, and theft of the highest order. They are stealing money from the citizens of this country! If I steal, I go to jail!

To jail with them!

SA government wants to control what you are paid

governmentrefundThe so-called freedoms gained by the democratic elections of 1994 are in jeopardy from all fronts. Just recently a furore broke out in this country, where the ANC wants to curb free speech in the newspapers. Then, they started calling for nationalization of mines. They further also want a National Health Insurance (NHI), which you as a citizen will have to pay for, whether you use it or not!

This government, run by the ANC, now wants to tell private businesses how much of an annual increase they may give their workers, especially if a person earns a certain amount of money. The suggestion is that a cap is put on bonuses and increases for senior managers and executives that earn more than R550k ($77,588 – exchange rate per 24 Nov 2010) per annum. They further suggest that people earning less than R20k ($2,821) per month should get increases equal to inflation PLUS a real increase. On the other hand, those that earn more than R20k per month should get increases equal to inflation only.

Taxi drivers strike against new AARTO Act because they will lose most

Taxi drivers have decided to strike today against the new AARTO (Administrative Adjudication of Road Traffic Offences) Act.

The Aarto system penalises drivers with demerit points for traffic offences. Once a driver has 12 demerit points, his or her driver's licence gets suspended for three months. A driver's licence gets cancelled on the third suspension,” writes Giordano Stolley at Mail&Guardian.

The South African Transport and Allied Workers' Union (Satawu) is demanding that the government withdraws the new licensing system, saying that it would cause their members untold hardship and a loss of jobs.

You see, these striking taxi drivers are concerned about the hardship and loss they will suffer due to the new law.

What they do not want to admit to is the fact that of all drivers in South Africa, taxi drivers are in my opinion by far the worst! It is true that they will suffer and experience job losses among them. In fact, many of them will experience this sooner rather than later! They drive like hooligans, and ignore traffic laws and regulations with impunity! They are in fact a danger not just to others using South African roads, but to the very passengers they transport across the country!

If there is indeed a way of controlling the taxi industry and its lawlessness, then it must be done!

I say, go AARTO!

Will America survive itself?

godblessamericaI love America, and I am not ashamed of it! Even though I am a South African, I love the United States of America! Many South Africans only show disdain for America, but the fact is that most of them only know America from what they see in the movies and TV shows, or perhaps the misguided CNN news channel.

My family and I lived there for 2 years (Columbus, Ohio) and we thoroughly enjoyed it. My greatest wish is to be able to return to the U.S. in order to live there for the remainder of my life. Will God grant that wish?

Even if He doesn’t, and I never get to see the friends we made there from 1999-2000, I will always have fond memories of our time there.

So, when I read about some of the truly stupid things that the lawmakers get up to in the U.S., I feel sadness, that such a great nation could one day just be another ordinary nation on a list of nations with nothing special to offer. Yet, the results of the mid-term elections give me hope, that somewhere, in the soul of America, there are still people that have some common sense.

Here in South Africa, baseball is as scarce as, well, nothing is that scarce. Perhaps, as scarce as snow at Christmas! Baseball South Africa's and the South African National Baseball League (Pro League) websites are available. But you will soon notice from these, that there is not much information about baseball in the country. How lame is that?

Paraprosdokian, Paraprosdokian, wherefore are thou?

© moodboard/Corbis
I just learnt a new word today! "Paraprosdokian." I know, it sounds weird, but, it is not a cuss word or even a bad word! It comes from two Greek words, παρα, meaning "beyond," and προσδοκια, meaning "expectation." It is a figure of speech in which the ending of a sentence or sentences (phrase/s) goes beyond what the listener expected. The listener would expect a certain ending to a sentence, but something unexpected is delivered after all.

Here are some of my favourites:
  • Where there's a will, I want to be in it.
  • Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.
  • I didn't say it was your fault; I said I was blaming you.
  • Some cause happiness wherever they go, others whenever they go.
  • "I can picture in my mind a world without war, a world without hate. And I can picture us attacking that world, because they'd never expect it." - Jack Handey
  • "One morning I shot an elephant in my pajamas. How he got in my pajamas I'll never know." - Groucho Marx
  • "I belong to no organized party. I am a Democrat." - Will Rogers
  • "I haven't slept for ten days. Because that would be too long." - Mitch Hedberg
  • "Time flies like an arrow; fruit flies like a banana." - Groucho Marx

If you like the idea of the paraprosdokian, I have decided to create a Google List and share it with whoever cares. As I find more websites with paraprosdokians, I will add it to the list., so check it out every now and again!

Sin taxes and government's investment in sin

We all agree on one level that "sin" taxes are a good thing, because we believe that these "sin" taxes are a deterrent to buying products that fall under these "sin" tax laws. Usually, smoking related products such as cigarettes, and alcohol are "sin" taxed. Of course, we all believe that people will think twice about buying such products because of these extra taxes on them.

I am not sure that this is indeed the case! From my experience, many of these "sin" users simply cut somewhere else in their budgets in order to keep purchasing their "sin" delights!

Join the Baby wars

Here in South Africa a total of 210 rhinos have been killed in 2010 for their horns to satisfy the 'horny' (forgive the intended pun) desires of degenerates in the far east. These lunes will pay top $$$ for rhino horn because they believe it has some kind of medicinal value and the power to give them sexual prowess. Why don't these people not just chew their own hair?

Anyway, these majestic animals are being killed for nothing! And that is a shame. And, outrage against this trade is the right response! Hence, there is a call to Join the Rhino Wars.

However, why don't these people show outrage against the vicious, conscienceless killing of another sort? That of millions of human babies every year! Enough human babies are being aborted worldwide every year to have decimated the populations of some countries!

New Gauteng number plates to launch in December 2010

The proposed Gauteng number plate system
I wrote about the new proposed Gauteng number plate system back in November 2009, and now finally, it seems that those new number plates will come into effect in December 2010.

Of course, one of the reasons that the current system of number plates have run out so soon, is because it never used vowels. The current system of BBB000 GP, doesn't use vowels. If I calculated correctly, the current system (without using vowels and excluding personal and government vehicles) can only take about 9,261,000 numbers, whereas if vowels were used it would've taken 17,576,000 numbers. Almost double the amount! Now they want new numbers which would cost people more, again!

Show your support for the Right to Know Campaign today! ACTION item!

The South African government is busy looking at the Secrecy Protection of Information Bill. I wrote about this in my post called "South Africa soon to experience its own Body Snatchers." In this post I wrote:

"The problem with any government, is that as soon as the government starts intervening in the area of the free flow of information (FFOI), it is usually (read: almost always) because the current government (political party in charge) does not like what is being said about them. When it comes to the ANC, that is exactly the case. The ANC does not have the social make-up or maturity to handle criticism well. [...]

"A government that does not like, and cannot handle, criticism, soon turns into a totalitarianism."
South Africa is currently at a cross-roads in more ways than one, and the issue of the freedom of the press and of the Free Flow of Information (FFoI) is but one of them. However, for the South African democracy this issue rates as one of the most important, if not the most important issue.

Times Live poll essentially misleading

As polls go, the Times Live latest poll is as misleading as most polls normally are. The poll wants to know who you will vote for as president of South Africa. They only have 3 clowns choices in their poll:

  1. Jacob Zuma
  2. Zwelinzima Vavi
  3. Julius Malema
All that this poll will establish is which one of these is most liked by people, clearly not who they would prefer to be president.

It is like asking, Which one do you prefer?:
  1. Satan
  2. The beast of revelation
  3. The false prophet
We do not want, or prefer, any of those that the Times Live put in their poll!

The Times Live poll should have included another option: "None of these clowns."

Strikes in South Africa show the heart of a brutal nation

In a previous post on the strikes in South Africa I wrote:

"Striking in this country is never just a matter of downing tools. It inevitably leads to violence, intimidation, destruction and in several cases, death! This is a culture that the ANC bred under the previous government, and has lost control of since they took over the South African government."
These strikes show the heart of a nation that is brutal, a nation with demands that show no sympathy for those that are truly in need. It is a nation that truly shows no love for its fellow citizens that are in dire need and in some cases dying. This is a nation where the plight of the poor fall on deaf ears and promises of help are just that, promises! It is a nation where promises lead to votes, as in the case of the ANC, but where the promises lead nowhere!

This is a nation where a man in desperate need of an arm saving operation after his hand had been cut off, is turned away from 2 hospitals by strikers who have no sympathy for those in real need.

South Africa just can't shake its two and a half world image

The ANC dug its own grave

South Africa's public service has ground to a halt due to strikes across all public service centers. Of course, striking is nothing new in South Africa, and it is a method that was used very effectively by the ANC before the 1994 elections. Now, the chickens have come home to roost, and the ANC has to deal with the very problems that they used to create for the previously 'white' government.

Striking in this country is never just a matter of downing tools. It inevitably leads to violence, intimidation, destruction and in several cases, death! This is a culture that the ANC bred under the previous government, and has lost control of since they took over the South African government.

After the euphoria of the FIFA World Cup 2010 in South Africa, it seems that everything has returned to normal in the country. All over the country, right through the duration of the world cup, there were flags on cars and on the fences of many homes.

The world cup made us think that we could conquer the world, that nothing was too difficult for us. However, that feeling soon came to an end after all the world cup touring visitors had left.

South Africa is not just a multi-racial country, but also a country of many worlds. It has the world of the mega-rich, those from black and white communities. Then there is the world of the destitutely poor, from black and white communities.

ACDP believes Markinor statistics about its growth

Politics is a funny thing. Sometimes hilarious, and at other times very sad! Politics is about numbers.

Politicians, by high numbers are made glad,
The same, by low numbers are made gloomy and sad.
The latest Markinor opinion poll has been released and some parties are happier than others about this opinion poll.

ACDP President, Kenneth Meshoe
One of those parties that has shown gladness at the results is the ACDP. The president of the ACDP, Kenneth Meshoe said in a party news release:
"The Markinor results are very pleasing and show the ACDP to be growing which is not evident for other opposition parties.

"This growth confirms that the ACDP is the party of the future; we believe the DA has reached its glass ceiling and note recent comments by various political analysts who stated that the ID would have ceased to exist had it not joined up with the DA.

"Yet even in our present police state, with our lives and bureaucratic structure now oriented around a fear of the next terrorist attack, the underlying principle remains the same as it was over 50 years ago--namely, can we hold onto our basic freedoms and avoid succumbing to the soul-sucking dredge of conformity that threatens our very humanity?

"This question is at the heart of director Don Siegel's 1956 classic Invasion of the Body Snatchers, a film that not only captured the ideology and politics of its day but remains timely and relevant as it relates to the worries that plague us today.

ACSA blames others for soccer semi-final bungle at airport

In this day and age, it is truly difficult to find people, especially companies, that will do the honourable thing and take responsibility for their own bungling of situations. Such a situation happened this week when many fans could not get to the semi-final between Spain and Germany, which Spain won by beating Germany 1-0.

According to ACSA (Airports Company South Africa), the Central Airspace Management Unit system failed, private plane operators took parking spots not allocated to them (our local taxi drivers must've piloted these planes), more planes arrived at the King Shaka's Airport than usual and low clouds prevented planes from landing. The gods must have conspired against the airport on that day!

South African police do not take crime seriously

As I have said so many times on this blog before, the South African government just is not serious about fighting crime.

Once again, a high ranking police officer, Brigadier Phuntsi Chipu said that "South Africa was a safe country and that crime was not as big a problem as people thought." He also said, "It is safe, crime is everywhere in the world. It's no worse in South Africa." I don't know how this man can call South Africa safe and that South Africa is no worse than anywhere in the world. Maths is obviously not a qualification necessary to make it to brigadier in the South African Police Services. If in South Africa, we have 50 murders per 100,000 people (50/100,000) and in the U.S.A. it is 7/100,000, then by sheer mathematical "luck" I would say that South Africa's crime is seven (7) times worse than it is in America. Oh yes, it isn't mathematical "luck" but mathematical science!

7 Reasons for Christian involvement in politics

Christians are forever between a rock and a hard place when it comes to politics. Should they be involved or should they limit it to voting alone? It isn't easy and many Christians muddy the water by playing the preaching of the gospel off against practical involvement in society. Of course the primary mandate of Christians is to preach the gospel of Christ to the nations, yet this mandate does not excuse us from being involved in society and politics. Being involved politically does not only mean standing for office. There are so many levels for involvement, from Christian action groups all the way to being president.

So, what reasons do we have for being involved in politics?

Apparently, teenage sex is a social problem

It seems like South African teenagers are all sexed-up and nowhere to go. 41% of pupils between grade 8 and 11 have had at least 2 sexual partners already. 52% of school pupils have had abortions, 19% have been pregnant or made someone pregnant and only 31% have used condoms during sex. As I have said in my previous post, "Criminals are cowards and should be treated as traitors to mankind!", the South African, ANC-led, government has created a godless society, and the results can be seen in the behaviour of our teenagers.

According to "acting director-general of Health Dr Yogan Pillay says there is no scientific intervention that can discourage people from having multiple partners." He also said that "[t]here is no medical intervention, there is no technical intervention. This a social challenge."

Criminals are cowards and should be treated as traitors to mankind!

Justice! What makes criminals think that beating up a one-year old little girl is acceptable in any way. Oh yes, these morons are cowards by nature! Criminals think that everything they "appropriate" is theirs by right. Well why did this follish and godless government take away the rights of victims to find justice from this corrupt and foolish government.

Any constitution should protect its citizens from its own government overstepping its bounds with regards to its citizens. Not the so-called progessive constitution of South Africa! It must be the only constitution in the world where the rights of criminals outstrip the rights of the victims. Oh yes, it is the right of these pathetic criminals to take what they want through any means necessary as a redress of past "injustices!" These contemptible criminals, so-called South Africans (some just Africans), should be thrown in jail and made to work for their food and lodging.

Mugabe plans to dispossess whites and foreigners in Zimbabwe

Zimbabwean Chief Clown, Robert MugabeSo, Mugabe continues the revolution in Zimbabwe! The disHonourable Chief Clown of Zimbabwe (HCCZ) is pushing forward with a law that was signed and delivered in 2008, and came into effect on 1 March 2010. All foreign and white business owners had to present plans to the government by 15 April on how they proposed to give 51% of their companies to "black Zimbabweans" (bZs - code phrase for Mugabe's goons).

Apart from South Africa's utterly disrespectful chief clown, Julius Malema, who was named as the Sunday Times' Mampara of the Year, Mugabe is just as racist and non-thinking. Is Mugabe really thinking that when all the whites are out of Zimbabwe and all Zimbabwean land belongs to bZs, that he will have a governable country with prosperity and peace? HCCZ's idea is not simply to pass 51% of all companies into bZ hands. The ultimate aim is to eventually get rid of the white colonialists that made their lives a living hell. Oh, pardon, me! That is what HCCZ is doing right now!

Even an ass has more sense

The Bible tells us about the story of Balaam the prophet, who was asked by Balak, the son of the king of Moab, to curse the people of Israel. Balaam went with them and God was angry with Balaam. However, Balaam's heart proved that he went because of wrong motives in his heart. So, God used a donkey (ass) to put a stop to Balaam's plans (Num 22:21-41).

Eugene Terre'Blanche murdered

ET, as Eugene Terre'Blanche used to be called, was murdered by two black men.

ET, well known as the leader of the Afrikaner Weerstands Beweging (AWB - Afrikaner Resistance Movement), was well known for his vocal hate of black people, and shrouded that hate under the ruse of wanting self-determination for white people.

The question is, was he murdered as a result of his previous vocal hate of blacks, or was he murdered as the ultimate "boer" so hatefully sung by the equally hateful Julius Malema in that despicable song, "Kill the boer, shoot the farmer!"

Obviously it is a combination of the two. ET died from the same hate that he lived by. And Julius Malema continues to fuel the flame of that same hateful racism from the opposite side of the fence.

What these hatemongers so conveniently forget, is that there are consequences to our actions, and the day will come when our names will be called up to give an account of those actions. Either here on earth, or after death before the great judge of heaven, God!

Blogging for Free Speech in the Media #SpeakZa

It has come to the fore that ANCYL is not a promoter of free speech in the media.

Sipho Hlongwane, of the Thought Leader website, wrote:
"It is therefore with great consternation that I observed the ANC Youth League’s latest trend of threats, intimidation, allegations of spying and outright spying on journalists perceived to be “enemies” of the youth league and its president, Julius Malema. Malema and his crony, Floyd Shivambu, seem willing to stop at nothing to protect their political and personal interests.
"Curtailing media freedom is often one of the first steps despots use in asserting their might and imposing totalitarian rule in their countries.
"That is why I decided to initiate SpeakZA, a social media protest against the ANCYL’s jackboot tactics against the media and journalists."

Normal life in South Africa: Crime has become a way of life

Before reading the next bit of my post, first read this to get a background on South Africa and its crime.

There is probably NO person in South Africa that has not been affected by crime. So, when relating the crime that has affected my family and friends would be quite normal. It is not out of the ordinary in South Africa's de-civilized life that multiple crimes have been committed against the same people.

Jacob Zuma's polygamous lifestyle wastes South African tax money

Why must South Africans pay for Jacob Zuma's polygamous and immoral lifestyle? R15.5M ($2M) annually to pamper his family and run his wives' offices?

Just like in the dark ages he has several wives and cannot control himself, sowing his immoral wild oats wherever he goes. What a shame as a president in this day and age!

Basta, Mr. President!

South Africa says "NO!" to porn channel: DSTV obliges!

Great news! DSTV has listened to South Africa in its survey on whether to launch a 24-hour porn channel or not. DSTV announced that it will not introduce such a channel since a significant amount of South Africans have spoken out against the possibility of DSTV starting such a channel.

Thank you to DSTV for listening to the moral voice of South Africa!

Cross-dressing generals? The end of American strength?

David A. Noebel, president and founder of Summit Ministries, has written a very poignant piece called Ready for cross-dressing Army generals?

In this article he writes:
"Allowing 'gays in the military,' therefore, is misleading. Once gays are openly recruited and accepted in the military, their 'cousins' will follow suit (lesbian, bisexual, transgender, transsexual, intersexual, queer, etc.). Such a scenario would even make Julius Caesar, who was bisexual, blush. Among soldiers, he was known as 'every woman's husband and every man's wife' (Taylor Caldwell, 'A Pillar of Iron,' p. 697).
"The United Sates[sic] is currently involved in two wars. Is the president out to destroy our military? Can any thinking American wish to see an "open" cross-dressing homosexual Army general trying to gain the trust of his troops (or for that matter, the nation)? Have we as a nation fallen so far that we need to apologize to Sodom?
"... If you say you don't believe it could happen, you're living in a fool's paradise. Let's not forget that Obama appointed Kevin Jennings, a flaming homosexual, as his "safe schools czar." Talk about letting the fox into the chicken coop! What Jennings is keeping kids safe from is any criticism of homosexuality in the public schools, which are literally teaching it as a safe, natural and moral lifestyle."

"Kill the boer, kill the farmer!"

"Kill the boer, kill the farmer!"

A slogan that has brought fear into the hearts of many whites in South Africa for decades. Of course, it is a slogan that does not belong in a democratic society where we are supposed to have civilized people in our political machinery. Yet, there it is: 'Kill the boer, kill the farmer!"

We have recently seen a spate of black-on-white racistic attacks coming to the fore, and it truly seems that the Rainbow Nation has no pot of gold at the end of its rainbow.

Driving in South Africa - Pt 5

South Africa Location.Image via Wikipedia
...last time.

South Africa, at times being a 1st world country and at other times a 3rd world country, you could expect cars to be in a bit of a poor state at times. Would you feel safe driving in South Africa with a car like this on the road next to you?

This time I will not even bother writing anything. Just look at the pictures and be amazed, shocked, perplexed!

Denmark's Killing Festival: a Sign of Manhood? Don't fool yourself!

Every year Denmark goes on a killing spree of whales and dolphins to prove that they have graduated into adulthood. How bizarre! It is absolutely laughable to prove your manhood by beating and hacking a defenseless animal to death. A real man will not give in to this barbaric ritual of slaughter and will stand against the tide of this inhumane cultural garbage!

God has given us plants and animals to eat and He also gave a mandate to look after this planet, not to let our barbaric urges loose on animals to prove a point.

Millenials: The New Face of America—Will Our Freedoms Survive?

As John Whitehead says in this video, this generation is one of the most educated generations in history. However, it is an education that knows little about life and morals. It is the generation of SMS, Twitter and Facebook. It is not a generation of great understanding, because its knowledge is based on sound bytes and not on reasoning from all available information.

Stranger in our Midst

A few years after I was born, my Dad met a stranger who was new to our small Texas town.  From the beginning, Dad was fascinated with this enchanting newcomer and soon invited him to live with our family. The stranger was quickly accepted and was around from then on.

As I grew up, I never questioned his place in my family. In my young mind, he had a special niche.  My parents were complementary instructors: Mom taught me good from evil, and Dad taught me to obey. But the stranger...he was our storyteller.  He would keep us spellbound for hours on end with adventures, mysteries and comedies.

Racistic hatred in South Africa far from over

The Rainbow Nation, as South Africa has been dubbed, is far from reality as seen in the real world. The Rainbow Nation was a virtual nation that never came to fruition. Actually, it is a farce. Since Nelson Mandela and the ANC took charge of the country back in 1994, the expected euphoria for the so-called new democracy in South Africa has died. It was expected that when the black majority took over the ruling of the country that the Rainbow Nation would lead to peace and harmony between all nationalities within our borders.

However, that has been proven as a false notion since, racism and xenophobia are still going strong on all sides. Not so long ago South Africa was ensconced in xenophobic attacks on foreigners from other African states that not only brought shame upon South Africa as a nation, but shocked the world that such hatred could still exist in a nation like South Africa.

Helen Zille hypocritical about DA sex-scandal

Just a few weeks ago the news broke that Jacob Zuma fathered yet another child out of wedlock. The whole nation was, and still is, in uproar about the South African president that simply cannot keep his pants up. The DA, the official opposition, especially gunned for Zuma because of his many "indiscretions," which by the way are just pure sinful!

Now, it has come to light that the MEC in the Western Cape for Community Safety, Lennit Max, had an extra-marital affair. Now, suddenly, this extra-marital affair is a "private" matter as opposed to Zuma's "public" matter. I fail to see how Zille can see a difference between these two cases. Zille said, "An extra-marital affair between consenting adults in private is not a matter that can be regulated by a political party, the state or the media." Zille has a very pragmatic approach, "If it does not have negative public consequences, such an affair is a private matter that is the concern of the participants, their families, their God and their church."

Will ANC benefit from Eskom price hikes?

It has come to light that the ANC has a R5.7 billion ($760m) share in a new deal to supply Eskom with boilers for new power stations needed to supply electricity to South Africa.

On this issue the leader of the ACDP, Kenneth Meshoe, asked South African president, Jacob Zuma if it was indeed true that the ANC had such a share in the Eskom deal.

If this is indeed true, then it is clear that it is a conflict of interest for the ANC to be involved in this deal, and that it would be impossible for the ANC to make a decision that would actually benefit the country's electricity users in the face of Eskom's request from Nersa that they be allowed to hike electricity fees at 35% per annum for the next three years. Why would the ANC oppose such a price hike, since they would be the beneficiaries of huge sums of money?

It is clear to me that the ANC is in it to make money from the South African public and is riding this ill-conceived knight in shining armour, saviour of the masses horse to death before the masses, if ever, find out that the ANC is an immoral organization hard at work lining their own pockets with loads of cash.

The dark side of human trafficking: children!

When we think of human trafficking, most would instinctively think of adult women being smuggled across Eastern European borders to pimp them in other countries under the false pretense of a better life.

However, there is a darker side to human trafficking, and that is that children are being abducted and suckered into lives of dependency on hard drugs, and in order to get their next fix, they have to have sex with despicable perverts that are many times "honoured" businessmen in the community. (Another reason why a person's private life speaks to his character and suitability to be a leader in the community) Many times these poor girls and women are gang raped by their "masters" if they try to escape.

The video below shows how in 2005 the police got in contact with a 16-year old girl who was in just such a situation, and how they went in search of her 14-year old sister and resultant raids.

Join STOP to stop Human Trafficking!

Human Trafficking is picking up almost daily here in South Africa with the run-up to the 2010 World Cup Soccer tournament. Unscrupulous, evil and completely depraved people are stealing, confusing and conning unsuspecting women and children under false pretenses into becoming sex slaves, child labourers, soldiers and more.

STOP (Stop Trafficking Of People) kicked off their Public Service Announcement campaign recently against human trafficking. STOP's incredibly important campaign kicked off amid increased activity in the illegal sex industry in South Africa and abroad, especially with illegal brothels sprouting up in residential areas across the country.

STOP has created some videos that are available for viewing exactly to combat human trafficking.

Abstinence Sex Ed Works

Zip it up!Who would have thought?

In a tiny piece called Abstinence Sex Ed Works in the TIME magazine of 15 February 2010 in The World: 10 Essential Stories section on page 9, it is reported that, well, abstinence sex-ed works!

According to a study that was recently published in the Archives of Pediatric Adolescent Medicine:

"abstinence-only sex-education programs proved more effective in encouraging teens to delay having sex than more comprehensive school programs that include information about safe sex and contraceptive options."

This study even prompted Obama's administration to perhaps start giving more funds for programs such as these. Essentially the message is "Zip it up and keep your pants on!"

Does anybody find it strange that all kinds of expensive research needs to be done to show the obvious. Common Sense indeed has died! Who would have thought that comprehensive sex-ed programs would actually encourage teens to delay having sex? Certainly not the conservatives! Definitely the liberals... but, oh yes, the liberals want the teens to have more sex, do they not? They are the ones who want younger and younger children to experience freedom in making their own choices without adult interference. It is the liberals that have created a culture of perversion and death in the West.

How have they created a culture of perversion? This is quite simple. They have been fighting for ever increasing liberal sexual laws since at least the 60's with its sexual revolting revolution. They have pushed for all kinds of sexual deviancy, especially for the "outing" of homosexuals. What's next? Polygamy? Bestiality like in Sweden? The problem with a revolution is that it is never enough. Revolutionaries can never get enough. They do not know when to stop. They are the ones who have lost all sense of morality, and that which they have will change tomorrow, because they have no sure foundation--such as the Bible--on which to base their morality. They are the ones who have rejected the God of the Bible and have made little "gods" in their own image. Little gods with whom they can continue their perverted sexual revolution. Even now, they are promoting their perversions in the schools through men like Obama's "safe schools czar," Kevin Jennings. Who will Jennings make schools safe for? Homesexuals? What about keeping these perversions away from children who would prefer not to be sullied by this immoral lifestyle?

How have liberals created a culture of death? Why, through their fight for abortion, the willful killing of another human being. Don't be fooled into thinking the argument is about "choice!" "Choice" is simply the pro-abortion movement's euphemism for abortion, which itself is a euphemism for the murder of pre-born babies. A woman has the choice to do with her body what she wants, as long as she keeps that choice limited to her own body. The baby is not a part of the woman's body, and therefore the woman has no rights over the life of the baby. Abortion is simply the modern version of child sacrifice to the god of convenience, which these liberals will worship to the point of death; not their own, but the death of defenseless babies. Of course, the abortion-mill market goes hand in hand with the push for free sex. No free-sex, no unwanted babies, no abortions, no money!

Liberals have also pushed towards legalized euthanasia--assisted suicide--in their promotion of the culture of death. I wrote about the issue of euthanasia in an article entitled Killing people using euphemisms back in April of 2005, so I will not touch much on this issue here. "
Many claim that a person should be able to decide when he wants to die by which method. Physical illness affects the mind and the body. As a result, these stressful situations always lead to difficulty in coming to a well-adjusted decision. Patients may one day want to die and another day want to live. Which day will be reckoned as his final decision?"

Coming back to sex-ed, the problem with comprehensive safe-sex education is that sex is the fuel for more sex. Whether it is called safe-sex or something else, sex becomes a fuel that drives itself further and further until it becomes impossible to give it up. Taking into consideration the mindset of teens, it will not be easy to get them to stop once they have engrossed themselves into lives of free sex. Soon, so-called safe-sex will become unprotected sex which will lead to STDs and unwanted babies and abortions.

Abstinence education doesn't have anything to prove in reality. No sex, no STDs, no unexpected babies! Does the education work? Yes, if educationists are willing to try! The reason why liberals do not think that it can work is that they really do believe that humans are just more evolved animals which should give in to their animal urges. According to them, it is unnatural to go against those urges. If we continue to treat our young people as if they are just a bunch of animals, should we really be surprised if they act like they are?

Rather, we should treat our children as the moral human beings that they are, with dignity, and teach them that it really is possible to control those sexual urges that are sinful outside of marriage, because it really is possible. We are not animals, but beings with great moral capabilities, if only we will surrender to the God who created us with those capabilities, Jesus Christ!
