Times Live poll essentially misleading

As polls go, the Times Live latest poll is as misleading as most polls normally are. The poll wants to know who you will vote for as president of South Africa. They only have 3 clowns choices in their poll:

  1. Jacob Zuma
  2. Zwelinzima Vavi
  3. Julius Malema
All that this poll will establish is which one of these is most liked by people, clearly not who they would prefer to be president.

It is like asking, Which one do you prefer?:
  1. Satan
  2. The beast of revelation
  3. The false prophet
We do not want, or prefer, any of those that the Times Live put in their poll!

The Times Live poll should have included another option: "None of these clowns."

Simple!

ACDP believes Markinor statistics about its growth

Politics is a funny thing. Sometimes hilarious, and at other times very sad! Politics is about numbers.

Politicians, by high numbers are made glad,
The same, by low numbers are made gloomy and sad.
The latest Markinor opinion poll has been released and some parties are happier than others about this opinion poll.

ACDP President, Kenneth Meshoe
One of those parties that has shown gladness at the results is the ACDP. The president of the ACDP, Kenneth Meshoe said in a party news release:
"The Markinor results are very pleasing and show the ACDP to be growing which is not evident for other opposition parties.

"This growth confirms that the ACDP is the party of the future; we believe the DA has reached its glass ceiling and note recent comments by various political analysts who stated that the ID would have ceased to exist had it not joined up with the DA.

Use Kosmix for a while and then take the poll!

I read an article on ZDNet by Jennifer Leggio called Google: It's not me, it's you. She has been using another search engine called Kosmix. In the article she explains why she likes Kosmix more than Google.

Now, who hasn't heard of Google yet? Maybe some cave dwellers, I suppose. Who has heard of Kosmix before? This was the first I ever heard of Kosmix.

I would personally like to know what you think about Kosmix, that is why I set up a poll on my blog. Please use it for a while and then answer the poll.

Happy searching!
