God votes ANC?

ancrulestilljesus
Once again, it is the moron silly season here in South Africa. Which means that we are in election season. Parties make all kinds of claims concerning their plans to make South Africa a better place to live. Yet, none is as bold and crass as the claims of the ANC! These people once again claimed that they would rule till Jesus returns. However, they have made that claim a bit more edgy, as when President Jacob “Shower Head” Zuma said as reported by the Mail&Guardian, “Even God expects us to rule this country because we are the only organisation which was blessed by pastors when it was formed. This is why we will rule until Jesus comes back."

Many empires in the past have proclaimed their eternal existence with great boldness. All of those empires have ceased and are not simply stories in history books. The ANC would do well to learn from history, which they are obviously not very familiar with, and certainly do not know what happens to empires, and kings and despots that claim to be ruling for all eternity.

The king of Babylon, Nebuchadnezzar, viewed himself as this great and wonderful king, and was in awe of his own greatness.

“’All this happened to Nebuchadnezzar the king.  (29)  Twelve months later he was walking on the roof of the royal palace of Babylon.  (30)  The king reflected and said, “Is this not Babylon the great, which I myself have built as a royal residence by the might of my power and for the glory of my majesty?”  (31)  While the word was in the king's mouth, a voice came from heaven, saying, “King Nebuchadnezzar, to you it is declared: sovereignty has been removed from you,  (32)  and you will be driven away from mankind, and your dwelling place will be with the beasts of the field. You will be given grass to eat like cattle, and seven periods of time will pass over you until you recognize that the Most High is ruler over the realm of mankind and bestows it on whomever He wishes.”  (33)  Immediately the word concerning Nebuchadnezzar was fulfilled; and he was driven away from mankind and began eating grass like cattle, and his body was drenched with the dew of heaven until his hair had grown like eagles' feathers and his nails like birds' claws.’” (Dan 4:28-33 NASB)

The complete passage can be read at BibleGateway.

The difference with the ANC is that they, in their own self created deep deception, actually believe that God is on their side. Little do they know that in God’s sovereignty, and in His providence He is merely using the ANC at this time as a tool to accomplish His purposes, certainly not because God is on their side. Once God has accomplished His purposes in using the ANC, He will discard them like He did with Babylon, the Medo-Persians (King Cyrus) and others through history like them.

Zuma, as the demon-empowered head of the ANC, has also said that voting for the ANC ensures voters’ entry into heaven. It is obvious that these ANC cadres don’t have a clue as to how one gets into heaven, especially with regards to his invoking the name of Jesus in such a blasphemous way. Entry into heaven has never been, and never will be according to a voters’ roll, and neither is it according to one’s genealogy! Mr. Zuma, entry into heaven is only through belief in the gospel of Jesus Christ. The apostle Paul wrote that “by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.” (Eph 2:8-9)

Boasting by the ANC will ultimately secure their demise. Unfortunately, the tool of an empire’s demise (in this case an empire of fools) is not always what we had hoped for; but if terminated it must be, its termination will be deadly!

Some reasons why God is NOT on their side:

  • Murder of babies on demand became the law under their government (abortion on demand)
  • Legitimization of perversion as marriage became law under their rule (homosexual marriage)
  • Objectification of women was signed into law by the ANC (legalization of pornography)

There are more reasons, but I believe these are some of the big ones.

The ANC knows their constituency, that they are easily duped into believing the deception of the ANC. As a result, many that normally vote ANC, believe the drivel being vomited up by the Abortion Nepotism and Corruption party.

Jacob Zuma's polygamous lifestyle wastes South African tax money

Why must South Africans pay for Jacob Zuma's polygamous and immoral lifestyle? R15.5M ($2M) annually to pamper his family and run his wives' offices?

Just like in the dark ages he has several wives and cannot control himself, sowing his immoral wild oats wherever he goes. What a shame as a president in this day and age!

Basta, Mr. President!

"Don't criticize me, I am the Prez!" says Zuma

Zuma acts like the devil!Yesterday I wrote about the despicable behaviour of the un-president, Jacob Zuma, in my post, "With all due disrespect Mr. Zuma, you are not worthy to be president!". As a result of the controversy stirred up by Zuma's actions, the newspapers have jumped on this issue. But Zuma, again making claims of cultural beliefs involved in his philandering, immoral lifestyle said that he has made the relevant cultural reparations to the family of the woman that he had illicit sex with that produced a child. So, what he is saying is have sex, make reparations; have sex, make reparations; hav... Mr. Zuma... No! No Mr...! If you have respect for someone you use the title Mr.! Mr. Zuma, has no moral fibre; in fact, morality is null and void in his mind, is it not?

On this matter Zuma, in a media statement from his office, said:

"I have done the necessary cultural imperatives in a situation of this nature, for example the formal acknowledgement of paternity and responsibility, including the payment of inhlawulo to the family. The matter is now between the two of us, and culturally, between the Zuma and Khoza families."

When will publicly elected officials such as presidents realize that while they are in their elected term of service, they do not have privacy like other citizens. The president is not just an individual that happens to be elected as president. When the president is sworn in, he promises to devote himself "to the well-being of the republic and all of its people." Jacob Zuma, as the elected president of South Africa represents South Africa and its people, and not the ANC or Zulu culture. During his time in his service to this country as president he must behave and conduct himself in all things--including his so-called private life--in such a way to promote the best image of South Africa to the world. After he finishes his service to South Africa he can do what he wants, but while he serves as president, and being paid by the people of this country, he needs to conduct himself without any serious misconduct for which he may be removed from his office as president. As president, Jacob Zuma must promote "the unity of the nation and that which will advance the Republic." By living as if his private life and presidential life are separate, and through his repeated sexual misconduct he is definitely NOT promoting "the unity of the nation and that which will advance the Republic." This matter is not just between the Zuma and Khoza families, this matter is between Zuma and the people that he represents, whose name he is continually dragging through the mud! BTW, Zuma said that he made the necessary reparations to the family according to his culture, but why does he not just keep his pants on? Then no reparations would be necessary!

The media statement continues:

"It is unfortunate that the individuals concerned have been unfairly subjected to harsh media exposure merely because of the position that I occupy. Our Constitution and our laws require us to protect children from harmful public exposure. The Constitution states that it is inappropriate to place at risk, the child’s well-being, physical or mental health, spiritual, moral or social development."

What?! Zuma wants to blame the media for the exposure that Sonono Khoza and the baby are getting? That is truly disingenuous! It seems like Zuma's hamster has vacated its offices. Did Zuma really think that he could do anything without the media scrutinizing those actions? It may be great to be president in South Africa, thinking that people should treat you like a Zulu king, but no, there is a dark side that comes with being president. RESPONSIBILITY! Zuma planted the seed--pun intended--and now he must watch it grow, with everything that goes with being president. Just because Zuma is a Zulu does not mean he will get a "Skip Media Scrutiny" card in his little monopoly game. Again Zuma calls upon the constitution to shift blame away from his own actions. By claiming, according to the constitution, that it "is inappropriate to place at risk, the child’s well-being, physical or mental health, spiritual, moral or social development," he tries to use a baby's so-called well-being to move scrutinizing eyes away from himself. Typical of a coward's actions! How the media's scrutiny of his actions and making known who the baby's mother is can harm the child, only he will know. In fact, the child does not even know what is going on.

What is quite laughable is that Zuma claims that all this attention places the child's moral development at risk. What in the world would Jacob Zuma know about moral development? He has the moral acuity of a coral reef!

Zuma continues:

"Both the Child Care Act and the new Children’s Act also provides for the protection of children from exploitation. The naming of the child’s parents has essentially exposed her to the public, which has serious implications in the long-term for her, and amounts to the exploitation referred to in the Act, because the media is making money out of the matter."

I must say, the poor child has been exploited so much! Wait a sec! No-one has even seen the child yet, so how could the child be exploited! No-one has even seen the child, but the child's parents have been named, how does that have long term implications for the child? Oh yes, the life-long implications for the poor child is that she has to be reminded every day for the rest of her life that her father is a philandering, immoral charlatan! These children were at risk, not Zuma's baby! The fact is that Zuma's child would always have been exposed to the public, being a child fathered by the president, morally or immorally! There is nothing out of the ordinary. If Zuma had a child with one of the women in his harem, it still would have made the news. The only difference is that in this case the parents had illicit sex and the child is unfortunate to be born under such circumstances. The newsworthiness of the situation has nothing to do with the fact that the newspapers have scrutinized Zuma's immoral actions, but with Zuma's immoral actions and lifestyle!

In the media statement Zuma also says:

"The media is also in essence questioning the right of the child to exist and fundamentally, her right to life. It is unfortunate that the matter has been handled in this way. I sincerely hope that the media will protect the rights of children."

I would like to know what kind of mental gymnastics Zuma and his ill-advisors went through to claim that the media in essence is "questioning the right of the child to exist and fundamentally, her right to life?" By highlighting the destructive sexual behaviour of Zuma in no way questions the right to existence of the baby that was born as a result of that immoral behaviour! Through all of this ducking and diving, Zuma simply will not take responsibility for the way that he lives. It is always someone else's fault. This has been Zuma's and the ANC's tactics from the beginning. Blame someone else, anyone else. Zuma certainly has a distorted view of the world, hoping that the "media will protect the rights of children." Children have the right to grow up in stable homes with parents that live moral lives from which they can learn. However, this is not what Zuma is going to give this child. This child will grow up knowing that her father loves other women too, and not just those he speciously claims as his wives. This clearly puts this child at risk in terms of her "mental health, spiritual, moral [and] social development!"

What Jacob Zuma needs is the good news of peace with God!

As it is said,
Today, if you hear his voice,
do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion.
Hebrews 3:15

With all due disrespect Mr. Zuma, you are not worthy to be president!

Jacob Zuma, President of South Africa has now shown conclusively that he is not worth being called president, even if the ANC received 60+% of the vote in South Africa's last election in 2009. From being a terrorist liberation organization to one that fronts despicable, corrupt and immoral men as its own and South Africa's leader, it seems to me that the ANC and Zuma are simply par for the course! The ANC does as the ANC does! Nothing has changed since pre-1994! A leopard can't change its spots!

It has come to light that South Africa's despised revered president has fathered an illegitimate child with a friend's adult daughter. This is his twentieth child! This is the same man who slept with a girl a couple of years ago while corruption charges against him were still being investigated.

What was Zuma thinking? Was he thinking? Zuma is already a polygamist according to his Zulu culture. If he hadn't divorced one and another died, he would've had five wives. As a man with three wives, he still goes around having sex with other women. Polygamy is simply a way of cheating on your wife. Zuma is very clearly hiding behind the it's-my-culture claim to legitimize his polygamy and philandering! This man cannot keep his zip up! His immorality is astounding. His corruption unequaled! To what lengths will this man go to drag the name of South Africa through the mud? At least Bill Clinton tried to hide what he had done with that woman, Monica Lewinsky! Not our Jacob Zuma! His motto is: "I can, so I will!" And so he did! And he flaunts it too! "Look dudes! Three wives and a bunch of chicks! I think I've worn out my zipper!"

That is NOT the kind of president we want to represent US before the world! Mr. President, you are a scumbag! Oh, yes, you do not even use condoms! Is that below your status as a Zulu man? This man does not engender pride in the hearts of thinking South Africans. He brings feelings of shame, disgust and horror that such a person could be our president. Respect! No, Mr. President, respect is earned and you have squandered that opportunity! Disrespect is what you have earned, and heaps of it! Zuma had the opportunity to prove everybody wrong about him after he became president. Yet, through his own actions he has proven us all right. He should not have been the president.

"(2) When the righteous increase, the people rejoice, but when the wicked rule, the people groan...
(4) By justice a king builds up the land, but he who exacts gifts tears it down...
(27) An unjust man is an abomination to the righteous, but one whose way is straight is an abomination to the wicked.
"
(Proverbs 29: 2, 4, 27 ESV)

The response by the ANC is also simply par for the course. ANC spokesperson Jackson Mthembu said:

"Why should a relationship between two adults be made an issue?... Why should it make headlines? Why is it characterised by some media as a 'shame to the nation'?... There is nothing wrong that the president has done. There is nothing 'shameful' when two adults have a relationship... By being involved with any other person, President Zuma is not guilty of any offence and he has not breached our constitution or any of our laws."

The fact is that this relationship is not just between any adults, it is between the president of our nation and some woman! What the president does has an impact on the people of this nation and on the world's perception of this nation! When the president does not bother to live an upstanding, moral life, why should anyone else in the nation care to do so? It is exactly because of this that the HIV infection rate in South Africa is the highest in the world and that South Africa also has the highest per capita occurrence of rape in the world! We can conclusively say that South Africa is one of the most immoral nations in the world! That, Mr. President, is SHAMEFUL, and you are at the forefront of that drive to deeper depths of immoral behaviour! May God have mercy on your soul and that of the people of this once great nation!

Every time someone dear to the ANC is caught in some expression of a severe character flaw, they claim that that person "has not breached our constitution or any of our laws," as Jackson Mthembu claimed for the anti-president, Jacob Zuma. The ANC has no sense of morality, especially not a Biblical, eternal morality as defined by God. They have a very convenient morality. A morality based on whatever is expedient for the moment.

ACDP president, Rev. Kenneth Meshoe said in a media release from his office:

"We find this unacceptable for a head of State not to take morality seriously and set a bad example, particularly for young men in the country. South Africa needs leaders who are morally upright and accountable... We believe President Zuma needs counseling and sex addiction therapy, as was recommended for Tiger Woods who has a similar problem of sleeping around."

Although I agree with Kenneth Meshoe's sentiments, I think he has it wrong. "Sex addiction" is not a psychological problem, it is a moral problem. It is a sin problem. The remedy for Zuma's sex-lust is not psycho-babble-therapy, but surrendering to Christ and repentance from his life of abject immorality. Zuma will not find help in "sex addiction" therapy--modern western culture--nor will he find it in Zulu culture. It is only in Jesus Christ that he can find refuge! May God's kindness lead Jacob Zuma to repentance! (Rom 2:4) It is as John Scott wrote, sex addiction therapy is usually "only for people whose wives (like Mrs Tiger Woods) regard their husbands' promiscuity as wrong. Mrs Zuma and Mrs Zuma and Mrs Zuma obviously don't mind, and Mr Zuma doesn't mind either, thank you very much." Is this also part of Zulu culture, or is this attitude from the Zuma wives simply due to the expediency of being set for life without having to work! Morality! Obviously not required!

I agree with the Reverend Theunis Botha, leader of the Christian Democratic Party, a member of the CDA who called for Zuma to resign for the good of the country.

Zuma has shown himself as irresponsible in his actions as it undermines the so-called African Renaissance which supposedly was to bring a higher moral standard to South Africa. Of course, this Renaissance has a "DNS"--Did Not Start--next to its name in the race of life, and Zuma and the ANC's attitude to issues such as these are making sure that this drunken lust will bring great ruin upon South Africa.

Julius Malema to be South African president after Zuma?

I know, I know! The thought of Julius Malema becoming the next South African president after Zuma is quite revolting, but it is a reality that we may have to face.

Zuma, over the weekend, praised Malema as a good leader worthy of "inheriting the ANC." Julius Malema is probably the most divisive politician since "one settler, one bullet!" The man has an uncanny knack of alienating anyone willing to think for himself. He has this way with the masses to turn them into rabid wolves ready to devour at his command.

The problem with Malema is that he thinks that everything can be solved via a takeover by the ANC government. Note, I did not say "government but "ANC government."

The question is, would you be willing to live in a country with Malema as its president? I am not so sure I am.

South Africa's next president?

Many people outside South Africa have little knowledge of what is really going on in South Africa. I don't blame them. Since the 1994 fully democratic elections that delivered Nelson Mandela as the winner, South Africa has been seen as a great example of success, being dubbed the "Rainbow Nation!"

South Africa is not a democracy as much as it is a tyranny by the majority over the minority ruled by corrupt politicians with an evil glint in their eyes. Neither is South Africa a "Rainbow Nation" as much as it is a stormy torrent of crime, corruption and drug laden dark back alleys.

Peter Hitchens, at the Daily Mail, wrote a thought provoking piece after a visit around ANC strongholds in South Africa. It is called "He has four wives and he faced 783 counts of corruption: PETER HITCHENS on South Africa's next president."

Here are a few paragraphs of Hitchens' story:

"Imagine how you would react if Gordon Brown opened and closed his election rallies by bursting into a song called Bring Me My Machine Gun, swaying and jigging to the hypnotic chorus of this menacing ditty.

"And how would you feel if the Prime Minister were alleged to be taking campaign money from Colonel Gaddafi; faced 783 counts of fraud, racketeering, tax evasion and corruption which somehow never came to court; and had been acquitted of rape while his fearsome supporters mobbed the courthouse?

"Then ponder how you would despair if, despite all these things, Mr Brown's party was certain to win the election whatever he did or said.

"If you can picture all this happening here, then you have an inkling of the horrible process South Africa is now going through. Except it is much, much worse."

The following cartoon is one of the calm depictions of Jacob Zuma at the Mail&Guardian:

Jacob Zuma not to be prosecuted

Zuma: will he take South Africa to hell? South Africa's constitutional rule of law was thwarted today.

In a press conference the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) said it was "neither possible nor desirable for the NPA to continue with the prosecution of Mr Zuma." The full statement by the NPA can be read here.

I am of the opinion that the phrase, "neither possible nor desirable," most probably has nothing to do with the actual facts of the case. There are over 300 charges against Zuma in his charge sheet.  Could they not find one serious enough to stick?

There are some questions. Have the NPA been having us on? Was this 8 year saga merely sabre rattling by the NPA? What pressure was exerted on the NPA for them to drop it? What was so undesirable about prosecuting Zuma? I am sure you have many more questions!

The dropping of the case creates more questions than it provides solutions. The NPA's backward manoeuvre on this case is a political solution and not one of justice. The fact that the NPA declared this case "undesirable" points to a political solution. It is obvious that it has become undesirable to prosecute Zuma for some political reason! The fact is that it has become undesirable for Zuma to be prosecuted because it would have brought great shame to South Africa if a sitting president came up for corruption charges.

If that were the case, it is way too late now! The opposite of the desired effect will be accomplished by the NPA's decision. South Africa has now clearly become a state in which the constitution and rule of law have no meaning. If it were any lesser person than Zuma who had the exact charges brought against him, he probably would have been in jail by now!

After 8 years of investigation, justice is the only route to follow, even if Zuma is innocent. The solution as it stands now, has created scepticism and suspicion.

The ANC and Zuma must not think that we think he is innocent. Far from it! Just because the NPA is not prosecuting in no way declares Zuma innocent!

The injustice in this decision by the NPA, adds to the downfall of this once great country. "By justice a [president] builds up the land, but he who exacts gifts tears it down." (Prov 29:4) Corruption in government, especially by the incumbent president, will further sully the image of South Africa. But, I suppose "evil men do not understand justice, but those who seek the LORD understand it completely." (Prov 28:5) The fact that justice is not understood in this country, is a clear indication how far this nation has fallen from the grace of God.

Further, the NPA also puts blame at the feet of the news media. How quaint! In the report, the NPA says: "Although I can understand that the matter at hand is an issue which is of great public importance, I wish to say that much of the speculation verged on the irresponsible and has had the effect of placing the NPA under a great deal of pressure." Pressure from the media? Whatever the media had to say about the saga, the NPA still had to make a decision based on the facts of the case at hand. Has the NPA become so weak that the media can put pressure on it?

Lastly, for now at least, it seems that the NPA admits to the fact that it does not have enough independence from governmental influences, as acting NPA head Mokotedi Mpshe said:

"It was then and it still is difficult for me to comprehend that which is set out below could have happened. The painful facts that I am about to put before you have serious implications for the integrity and independence of the NPA especially regarding the prosecution of Mr Zuma.

"We believe that it is vital that the NPA must expose this conduct and deal with the consequences as honestly and constructively as possible if it is to have any chance of rebuilding its credibility and integrity. Our democracy will have to find ways to learn from this bitter experience and to build a stronger and more independent NPA."

By making such a statement it has become clear that the NPA, which should not be influenced by government, has experienced its own share of abuse of process. This, perhaps, is the clearest indication that the NPA was pressured, not by the media (an excuse), but by the ANC to let go of the Zuma case!

The question, then, remains: Will we ever get to know the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth?

You better keep on breathing!

Conspiracy Theories detract from facts in Zuma case

"The blizzard of spin focusing on the alleged political conspiracy against Jacob Zuma has diverted attention from the facts of the case against him.

"If he never faces trial, as now seems very likely, those facts constitute a powerful matrix of doubt about his conduct and judgment, which the president-in-waiting has consistently failed to counter. The evidence was led at Schabir Shaik’s trial and further set out in the most recent December 2007 charge sheet against Zuma and the French arms company Thint. It includes:"

ANC costs South African taxpayers millions

True to the nature of the ANC's bloated ego, they confuse themselves with government in so far that they use taxpayer money to foot the bill for their own corruption trials and personal protection.

Taxpayers foot the bill of Jacob Zuma's personal protection to the amount of R1 million per month! Remember, Zuma is not a public office bearer. This has cost the taxpayer around R50 million so far!

Further, the taxpayer paid R2 million in legal fees for Jackie Selebi's fight against corruption charges. Jackie Selebi's corruption is his own corruption and should therefore pay for his own legal fees. Unless of course the ANC agrees that the government are the co-accused in the corruption charges! But we already know that is true. However, the ANC should pay for their own corrupted cronies, and not rob the South African taxpayer of hard earned money!

What is Zuma hiding?

Zuma's actions lend themselves to great suspicion of the man.

He has travelled 3000Km+ to stop the NPA from gaining access to some documents in Mauritius. The state has described these documents as "damning evidence" against Zuma and Thint, a French arms company.

What made Zuma travel all the way to Mauritius to stop these documents to be released into the NPA's hands?

When someone goes to such great lengths to ensure that documents remain buried, I can hardly bring myself to thinking that it may perhaps be to ensure that justice is done!

Both Zuma and Thint argue against the release of these documents, claiming that it would impact their rights. What would those rights be? Defrauding and stealing from the South African nation? Hiding criminal activities? Amazing! I always marvel at the ability of people who are involved in criminal activities to use mental gymnastics in order to justify their abhorrent behaviour! Some blame the devil, or even God, who made them or told them to do it. Others claim that their criminal activities are protected by some misguided bill of rights.

Zuma must be the crown prince of Coocoo Land. He also claims that the very fact that the NPA requested these documents from the Mauritian government "would tarnish his international reputation and cause him to 'suffer grave and potentially irreparable prejudice'."

The fact that he is doing his utmost to stop these documents from seeing the light of day seems like a big cover up by him and his lawyers. "THAT alone, Mr. Big Shot ANC man, has tarnished your
international reputation and caused you to 'suffer grave and potentially irreparable prejudice'." Zuma should have thought of his tarnished reputation before he got involved in all these things.

And, it is not just these corruption charges that have "tarnished" his reputation. As a former chairman of the SA National Aids Council, he had sex with a woman whom he knew was infected with the AIDS virus. This of course became international news since he was accused by the woman that he had raped her. At the rape trial, when asked if he had used a condom, he replied that he didn't, but that it was fine as he took a shower to minimise the chances of infection.

As can be seen in the picture above, his reputation as a "showerhead" was created by him and him alone. Zuma does not need anyone else to tarnish his reputation. Zuma is his own victim!

Government to blame for South African HIV/AIDS pandemic!

Here we go again!

By now, the government-issued Choice condoms, have had 3 recalls of defective condoms in recent memory. Two of these recalls were within the last two months.

Together with these condom failures, top government figures such as Jacob Zuma (in the running for the presidency of the ANC, and hence that of South Africa) make light of the HIV/AIDS pandemic by comments and practices that lead to the wrong message for our people in this country.

Zuma had sex with a woman not so long ago without knowing whether she had HIV or not! His solution to prevent himself form getting the virus? A good shower after his escapades with this young woman! If this is not a bad message to our people, then what would be?

Then, our health minister, Dr Mantombazana Tshabalala-Msimang, tells people that they need to eat potatoes and other vegetables to fight this battle.

The government has shown time and again that they do not have the resources or the know-how to fight this battle. With them, it is mostly talk and no action. For that, they are to blame!

However, in a recent article in the Mail & Guardian, Warren Foster laments the problem of the HIV/AIDS pandemic by placing all the blame on the government for the spread of this deadly virus in South Africa.

Some people were interviewed for this article, and they all blame the government! How can the government be blamed for the spread of HIV/AIDS, when the spread of this virus is almost completely by having sex with another person? Is the government organising orgies for people to attend? Is the government forcing people to have sex with others?

The fact is that our society has become a society of victims. Whenever something goes wrong in our own lives, we need to blame someone else. Even when we cut off our own hands with some tool, we have this urge to blame someone else, who "should have" put a warning on the tool to keep it away from our hands.

We no longer want to take responsibility for our own lives. That is why people blame the government for getting HIV/AIDS, and when the government is too slow in the fight against the virus, then these same people blame the government once again!

I have to agree that the government keeps on sending out the wrong signals in this fight, but it is because professionals and the industry gave the government the message to pass along. The message is that as long as you use a condom while having sex, you will be fine. However, that is a simple lie that is proven to be false within the condom industry! The fact is, that condoms still have around a 20% failure rate when it comes to fighting HIV, or pregnancy for that matter. This however is not disclosed to people. So, when the government, and all those clever professionals tell people that they need to use condoms during sex, what do people think?

The initial thought is that government finds free sex outside of marriage as acceptable behaviour. So, these people simply go along with the flow!

The fact is, the best method of fighting this virus is not through condoms (the misnomer of "safe-sex"), or medicine, but through the simple practice of chastity. With this chastity comes abstinence, which up till now have proven 100% safe against the spread of this virus.

Of course, your first thought will be, "But people will not stop having sex outside of marriage!" Of course they will not! As long as we tell them that they do not have the ability to abstain, why should they even try? They are victims of this over-sexed society anyhow, aren't they? So, they are victims and victims just sit back waiting for things to happen to them.

No, we need to start the real "moral regeneration" of this country by telling people that sex outside of marriage is sin in God's eyes. There are consequences to having free sex. Two of those are unwanted pregnancies and STDs. By following God's laws in this regard, neither of these would be a problem!

When the government does not protect its citizens from crime and invasions, then blame it. But, when your own actions lead to your own demise, don't blame someone else. Take responsibility for it!

Please understand, I am not saying that we should abandon sick people, but when a lifestyle leads to disease, don't shift the blame onto others!

Zuma an honourary pastor!

Pastor Zuma?I sometimes wonder what people are thinking when they do what they do. Even more so in this case of Zuma being ordained as an "honourary" pastor!

In this case, Bishop Ben Mthethwa of the Independent Charismatic Churches, "ordained" Zuma a priest in his movement according to the IOL link above. According to the Sowetan, it was Pastor Vusi Khoza who conferred the honour.

I mean, get real! What was Mthethwa thinking?

How anybody in his right mind could even entertain the thought of "ordaining" Zuma as an honourary pastor/priest is completely beyond me. This is bestowing an honour on Zuma he is not deserving of! Zuma's lifestyle goes against almost everything Christianity stands for.

It seems to me that Mthethwa is looking for browny points with a man who may or may not be South Africa's next Prez! Of course, employing this shrewd move will obviously not escape the notice of all those ardent Zuma supporters.

In their abject ignorance they said, "We stick by our decision to honour Zuma. He will continue to carry the mandate of Jesus Christ for us." What mandate would that be? A mandate for adultery and corruption? Zuma is a man without a moral compass. Or, at least, if he has one, it has no "N" on it! It just seems to me that he is weak on morals. How then, can such a man be "ordained" an "honourary" pastor?

How can men like Mthethwa and Khoza be seen as men of God when they so easily violate the very Scriptures they claim to adhere to?

The Bible makes it very clear who may or may not be pastors in the church. Zuma does not do so well when graded against this criteria. Further, Zuma has shown no evidence of a life of following Jesus Christ, the Head of the Church!

If anyone wants to support Zuma politically, then do so politically. Do not commit sacrilege in the process by defiling an office of the church.

Lastly, I have made my thoughts about the ANC abundantly clear, and think that these pastors of the independent charismatic churches are in grave error on this subject!
